The International premiere of Tony Jaa's martial arts action romp Ong Bak 2 will kick off the South By Southwest festival's inaugural midnight section next month, SXSW Presents Fantastic Fest At Midnight.

The line-up of six pictures includes the world premieres of Pierre Laffargue's blaxploitation homage Black starring MC Jean Gab'1, and Phil Claydon's UK comedy-horror Lesbian Vampire Killers with Paul McGann, James Corden and MyAnna Buring.

The lineup includes the international premiere of Peter Cornwell's supernatural drama The Haunting In Connecticut starring Amanda Crew, Elias Koteas and Virginia Madsen and the North American premiere of Steve Kastrissios' Australian revenge tale The Horseman with Peter Marshall and Caroline Marohasy.

Rounding out the line-up is the US premiere of Bruce McDonald's zombie tale Pontypool starring Stephen McHattie, which premiered at Toronto last autumn and has been acquired by IFC for the US. Maple Pictures holds Canadian rights.

The festival is set to run from March 13-21 in Austin, Texas. For further information visit www.sxsw.com/film.
