Jessica Hausner’s Lourdes won the Gold Giraldillo for best film at the Seville Film Festival, which closed on Saturday (November 14).

The film, which follows a wheel-bound young girl who is cured on a pilgramage to a French shrine, picked up $74,875 (€50,000) towards it Spanish released. Meanwhile, the Silver Giraldillo went to Nothing Personal by Urszula Antoniak and the special jury award Malcolm Venville’s British production 44 Inch Chest.
