French producer and industry veteran Jacques le Glou passed away on December 9 at the age of 70.

He was the former president of the French Film Export Association (ADEF) and a former VP of Unifrance.

His Paris-based company JLA (Jacques Le Glou Audiovisuel) worked on films including Je suis venu pour elle, Khalass, Benoit Jacquot’s Adolphe, and Christophe Honore’s 17 fois Cecile Cassard.

AED said in a statement that “Jacques Le Glou was above all an important worldwide exporter and ambassador of French cinema. An entire generation of exporters today pays homage to a man who lent our profession some of its finest moments, thanks to his earthy charm, flair and passion for cinema. A grand figure in cinema has passed away.”
