The announcement follows Berg’s departure from ICM Partners following 27 years as chairman and CEO of its previous incarnation ICM.

Resolution is a full-service talent and literary agency based in Los Angeles and New York.

Berg will serve as chairman and television producer and music agent Jeff Franklin is named as COO. Jahm Najafi of backer Najafi Companies will serve on Resolution’s board with Berg and Franklin.

The executive team will include former WME VP of finance and controller Laura Li as Resolution’s CFO; former Universal Pictures and MGM senior international marketing and distribution executive Randy Greenberg as co-head of operations and business development; and former Universal Pictures evp of business affairs and former CEO of Intermedia Pictures Jon Gumpert as General Counsel and head of business affairs.
