Anick Poirier and Natalie Kampelmacher closed deals on The Olive Tree in France (Haut et Court), Japan (At Entertainment), Benelux (September Films), Central America (Wiesner Distribution), Portugal (Outsider Films), Colombia (Babilla Cine), Finland (Cinema Mondo), Taiwan (Joint), Greece/Cyprus (Seven Films), Turkey (Filma), and Israel (Lev Cinema).

Seville International handles international rights outside Spain, where eOne distributes directly, and German-speaking Europe. Piffl Medien will release n Germany and Film Coopi in Switzerland.

Anna Castillo, Javier Gutiérrez and Pep Ambròs star in the story about a spirited young woman who travels from Spain to Germany to retrieve an ancient olive tree for her ailing grandfather.
