Brian O’Shea has closed a deal to start international sales in Cannes on found footage story The Houses October Built from Paranormal Activity and Insidious producer Steven Schneider.

WME Global and Preferred Content are handling US rights on the completed New Regency project about a Halloween Haunted House attraction.

The Houses October Built hails from the producer-director team of Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe. New Regency produced the film with Schneider.

”The Houses October Built is a terrifying film, the best found-footage horror film since Paranormal Activity terrified movie audiences,” said The Exchange CEO O’Shea.
