After a strong start earlier this year, newcomer Other Angle has announced three fresh projects for the AFM. The first is a thriller directed and produced by Alexandre Arcady, Five Brothers.

The cast includes Patrick Bruel, Vincent Elbaz, Pascal Elbe, Eric Cavaca and Michel Aumont. The group play five siblings – four of whom live nice lives in Paris. The fifth, having gone missing in the south of France, returns to ask his brothers to help him avenge their father’s murder.

The film is shooting in Paris and Marseille and will be released by ARP in June. A promo reel will be available at the AFM.

On Her Tracks is a first film from directors Yves Thomas and Sophie de Daruvar and produced by former super-agent Dominique Besnehard. Isabelle Carre plays a nurse whose husband, Sergi Lopez, is a struggling writer. After helping one of her patients to die, Carre’s character takes pity on the suffering and helps them to end their lives without telling her husband. He in turn becomes suspicious of her creating a new dynamic for the couple.

Ocean will release On Her Tracks in France next year. The film is currently in post-production.

Also on the slate is Free Exchange another first feature. Serge Gisquiere directs Carole Bouquet and Julie Depardieu in the story of a high-class call girl and a desperate housewife who trade places. Currently in pre-production, the film will be released by ARP next year.

Other Angle will also show new footage of Christopher Thompson’s upcoming Bus Palladium while continuing sales on summer hit Neuilly Sa Mere and Cannes critical darling Les Beaux Gosses.
