Chairman and CEO Roman Kopelevich will commence sales on the Croisette on Jordan Roberts’ rom-com starring Charlie Hunnam, Lizzy Caplan, Chris O’Dowd from Bridesmaids, Ron Perlman and Whitney Cummings.

Frankie Go Boom premiered at SXSW and tells of a beleaguered man who plans to get back at his brother after the latter posts a video online of his unfortunate one-night stand.

Pavlina Hatoupis, Marcel Langenegger and Katayoun A Marciano produced and the executive producers are Elliot Lewitt and Julie Kirkham.

“Jordan has created a wild and whimsical film that’s absolutely hysterical, and this original and heartfelt comedy will set itself apart from anything else being offered,”Kopelevich said.

“I couldn’t be happier to be in business with Red Sea Media and Roman Kopelevich,” Roberts said. “Roman gets the film, and he gets me. And I look forward to a long, mutually rewarding relationship with him.”

Tiffany Boyle, packaging and sales executive at Law Offices of Elsa Ramo, brokered the deal alongside Ramo and Red Sea Media.

Red Sea Media launched at the EFM earlier this year with sales on David A Armstrong’s heist thriller Pawn starring Michael Chiklis, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Common, Sean Faris and Nikki Reed and Brian A Miller’s revenge tale Officer Down, starring Stephen Dorff, Dominic Purcell, Stephen Lang and James Woods.

Kopelevich, the former head of sales at Bleiberg Entertainment, founded the company with Roman Viaris was formerly, formerly of Comerica Bank, Nu Image and Voltage Pictures.
