Prague based productionservice company Stillking Films has received a Euros 100,000 Media Plus grant,which it will use to develop five projects over the next three years.

The first of these is titledRevolutions Per Minute. Set in the Czech Republic, the film tells thestory of a manufacturer of vinyl LPs, whose business is saved by techno DJs.Screenwriter Phil Traill (Pobby And Dingan) is working on the script. RevolutionsPer Minute will be in Czech and in English.

"It's Good Bye, Lenin!meets The Full Monty meets 24 Hour Party People," scriptdevelopment supervisor Danny Holman told ScreenDaily.com.

"The EU grant helps supportour overall commitment to financing the development of projects as well asproducing them," Holman said.

Stillking has recentlyco-produced such movies as Alien vs Predator, Doom and Tristan AndIsolde and has supported the production of others, including The BourneIdentity, Shanghai Knights, Van Helsing and the forthcoming EverythingIs Illuminated.

Another project developed byStillking, Norman Bates, written and directed by Richard Kwietniowski (OwningMahowny, Love And Death On Long Island) is expected to go into productionin South Africa this year.
