Regional broadcaster Star has sold a package of 20 titles from its Fortune Star movie library to Malaysian broadcaster Media Prima Berhad.

Titles covered by the deal include The First Of Fury, starring Bruce Lee; three Jet Li titles including Once Upon A Time In China, and seven Jackie Chan titles including the Police Story series. The titles will be broadcast on Media Prima’s four free-TV channels – TV3, 8TV, TV9 and NTV7.

Star recently expanded its Fortune Star library to around 750 titles by acquiring more than 100 films from Hong Kong production company China Star Entertainment including Johnnie To’s Running Out Of Time and Needing You.
