Creative England hosts the event in partnership with Danish Film Institute and Irish FIlm Board.

Creative England, working in partnership with the Danish Film Institute and the Irish Film Board, is planning a new international forum for profesions working in talent development.

The inaugural edition of TalentX, planned as an annual event, will be held at the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam on March 18-20.

International talent developers from state agencies, commercial companies and film schools will attend alongside producers, sales agents, distributors, exhibitors and filmmakers.

Topics will include exploring what writers, directors and producers really want from developers; strategies for moving talent from shorts to first, second and third features; the role of producers in bringing on talent; and different international models for development.

Creative Europe supports the new forum.

Chris Moll [pictured], Head of Film at Creative England adds, “Getting creative people onto the path that works for them in developing their careers is vital, however, that is only the beginning – ensuring new and emerging talent can thrive, making second, third and more projects that successfully connect with audiences is the endgame and sharing experiences on how we can do that more consistently is what this forum is all about.”
