UK producers body Pact has announced the appointments of four new staff members.

Joining June 4 are Dawn Simpson and Matthew Basham, who have been named director and deputy director, respectively, of Out Of London. That new department will be based both in London and Wales . Simpson previously worked at Propeller TV and Basham was head of distribution at the Director's and Producer's Rights Society.

Also, Cathy Ditchfield, who joined Pact on May 21, has been appointed to director of marketing and communications. She previously held a similar post at Ingenious Media.

Finally, Nick Underhill takes the new post of new media executive as of June 18. He had been director of business development for Wired Sussex .
