The27th AFM, which has been severely affected by sporadic internet service at theLoews Hotel, has announced record attendance levels.

OrganisersIFTA claim overall attendance climbed to 8,208, up 2% against last year's8,014.

Thecurrent tally of buyers as of today is 1,573 from 61 countries, with mostnotable year-on-year rises coming from Mexico (up 57% in individuals and 30% incompanies), Italy (22% and 20%),and Turkey (44% and 20%).

Onthe exhibitor front, IFTA claims a record 435 companies from 36 countriesgenerated 3,888 attendees, a climb of 2% against last year.
