Los Angeles-based sales company American World Pictures has picked up international rights to Michael A Nickles’s high school comedy Just Peck ahead of Cannes.

Marcia Cross, Brie Larson, Adam Arkin and Camryn Manheim star in the story of a baby-faced nerd who tries to win the heart of the coolest girl in school by devising an ambitious science project.

“With this all-star cast, we are confident that we’ll have strong sales,” AWP founder Dana Dubovsky said after concluding the deal with the Jerry Leider Company.

Just Peck will premiere on May 13 and screens again on May 15.
