The UK's Industry Trust for IP Awareness has today announced the appointment of Paul Archer as interim director general.

Archer will take the position from Aug 13 when current director general, Liz Bales, departs for maternity leave. Bales will return in spring 2008.

Archer previously served as video sales director at Granada Ventures and also worked at Momentum Pictures, Hanna-Barbera and Polygram.
