OORT and Terracotta Media are planning a four-day showcase of Asian films in Brighton, UK, with the debut of the Tiger Festival sponsored by Tiger beer.

The event will run May 31-June 3 at the Duke of York's Picturehouse. There are plans afoot 2008 for a week-long event in 2008, post-Cannes.

The festival will screen Satoshi Kon's Paprika, Banjong Pisanthanakun & Parkpoom Wongpoom's Shutter, Johnnie To's PTU, Feng Xiaogang's The Banquet, Zhang Yimou's Riding Alone For Thousands Of Miles, and Wilson Yip's Dragon Tiger Gate.
