The Bourne Ultimatum was named best film at the UK's Sony Ericsson Empire Awards in London.

But most honours - voted for by the public - went to Joe Wright's Atonement, with awards for best actor (James McAvoy), actress (Keira Knightley) and British film.

David Yates was named best director for Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix while Sam Riley added to his honours as best newcomer for Control.

Other UK films picking up prizes were Hot Fuzz and28 Weeks Later while Stardust,directed by Brit Matthew Vaughn, and Ridley Scott's American Gangster were honoured.
