Catriona Boothwas today (Feb 5) named director of international corporate communications atWarner Bros, a new London-based post that bestows a panoply of duties as thecompany's official spokesperson in Europe. Booth will assume responsibilityfor corporate and business press at the various divisions and properties,including strategic communications for Warner Bros UK. She will also manageday-to-day press related to legislation, regulation, litigation and policysurrounding the company's European operations, play an integral role inin-country community relations and public affairs and liaise with AOL TimeWarner's international public policy offices. She will report directly tosenior vice president and chief corporate communications officer Barbara SBrogliatti, who made the announcement, and work closely with Josh Berger,executive vice president and managing director of Warner Bros. UK.

Before joining Warner Bros, Booth spent the last nineyears at associate partner at Brunswick Group, a London-based consultancy whereshe recently served as the account executive working with AOL Time Warnercorporate communications in the UK, France and Germany and handled specialprojects for Warner Home Video in Europe. Prior to that she was a financialjournalist and a stockbroker.
