Raymond De Felitta’s comedy City Island, starring Andy Garcia and Julianna Margulies, has won the eighth annual Tribeca Film Festival Heineken Audience Award.

De Felitta will receive a cah prize of $25,000 for his film, which received its world premiere during the festival and tells of a Bronx family riddled with secrets. Emily Mortimer and Alan Arkin round out the cast.

Nancy Schafter, Tribeca’s executive directo, says: “We have had a rich tradition of documentaries taking the audience award at Tribeca, and this year we are delighted to have a smart, crowd-pleasing comedy with an outstanding ensemble cast.”
