The picture remained number one in its second weekend inJapan, where it fell 20% and added $5m on 607 screens for $19.4m.

It added $2.3mon 319 in its second weekend in Korea after a slight 7% tumble, staying topthere and raising the cumulative score to $8.1m for the distributor's fifthbiggest gross ever.

The Day AfterTomorrow grossed $3.4min the UK where it ranked second in its third weekend and fell 42% for $33.6m,while $1.8m and second place in Mexico after a 40% slide elevated the totalthere to $14.8m, which is already Fox International's fourth biggest everscore.

In other thirdweekend results, the picture ranked second in Germany after a 34% fall on $3.4mfor $23.3m; stayed top in Spain and added $1.4m for $12.1m after a 50% slide;and added $1.6m in Australia after a 39% slip for $10.9m, ranking second.
