EXCLUSIVE: Dogwoof assumes role as producer of global marketing and distribution on doc F*ck For Forest.

Dogwoof has taken on the role of producer of global marketing and distribution on documentary F*ck For Forest, directed by Michal Marczak.

The tongue-in-cheek documentary follows Berlin’s F*ck For Forest, an NGO that raises money for their environmental cause by selling home-made erotic films on the internet.

John Reiss coined the PMD label last year as part of a method to achieve clearer marketing and distribution strategies. Dogwoof will team early with the film’s producer Mikolaj Pokromski.

Dogwoof’s CEO, Anna Godas, said of the new role: “The key objectives of this role are to build audience awareness of the film globally, and to make the films as “sales-ready” as they can be. It is about working very closely with the filmmakers, and making the most of the production process to engage audiences, and potential buyers. This is a natural evolution within our company; marketing platforms keep evolving and so does Dogwoof.”

In the last year Dogwoof has secured its first round of investor funding, set up Dogwoof Global, their international sales division, a pop up cinema strand, and Dogwoof USA.
