French sales outfit Elle Driver is doing a roaring business on Berlinale opening film, Farewell My Queen, starring Diane Kruger as Marie Antoinette. Following yesterday’s announcement of a US deal with Cohen Media Group, the French company has announced further deals with Canada (Christal), Benelux (Lumiere), Korea (Boogee YoungHwa), Israel (United King), Middle East (Shooting Stars), Brazil (Conquest Films) Japan (Gaga), Australia (Transmission), Turkey (Associated Euromedia LLC), Greece (Spetnzos), Bulgaria (A Plus), CIS and Baltics (Art Film/TopFilm), Germany (Telepool), Czech Rep/Slovakia/Hungary (EEAP Eastern European Acquisition Pool GmbH), Switzerland (Praesens), and Argentina/Paraguay/ Uruguay/Chile (Warvich SA.).

Elle Driver’s Adeline Fontan Tessaur confirmed that the company was in discussions for the UK and Italy. Benoit Jacquot’s film is expected to be sold out by the end of the market.

Elle Driver is also doing brisk sales for Sundance comedy Bachelorette. Its slate also includes Hotel Rooms by Matt Ross, Black Rock by Kate Asleton, and Marialy Rivas’ Young And Wild.
