IFC Films has acquired US rights to Kat Coiro’s A Case Of You from Lagniappe Films.

Justin Long, Christian Long and Keir O’Donnell wrote the screenplay and the film stars Long, Evan Rachel Wood, Sam Rockwell, Peter Dinklage, Busy Philipps and Sienna Miller.

Long also produced with O’Donnell with Holly Wiersma and Logan Levy, while Brice Sanderford and Cassian Elwes served as executive producers.

A Case Of You premiered at Tribeca and centres on a man who concocts an online profile to woo the girl of his dreams.

  • Oscilloscope Laboratories has acquired US rights to Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais’ darkly comic thriller Whitewash starring Thomas Haden Church. The Tribeca premiere centres on a Canadian plough operator who accidentally kills a man. eOne handles international sales in Canes.
