Igor Sterk’s psychological thriller 9:06 finds US distribution.

US outfit Vanguard has picked up rights to Slovenian thriller 9:06 from French sales company Insomnia.

The deal was brokered by Insomnia’s Luc Ntonga and Christoph Thoke of Mogador Film.

The Slovenian-German production between A.A.C. Productions, Gustav Film and Mogador Film in coproduction with ZDF/arte and RTV Slovenij, is a psychological thriller that tells the story of a police inspector in Llubljana, who investigates a suicide.

9:06 picked up 15 awards at the 2009 Slovene Film Festival.
