The distributor snapped up all Canadian rights to Harmony Korine’s coming-of-age romp starring James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.

Harry Grivakis negotiated for VVS Films with Ted Field and Mike Weber of Radar Pictures. Annapurna Pictures swooped on US rights prior to Toronto and staged talks with potential distribution partners during the festival.

Red Granite International is pre-selling Horns, a supernatural thriller starring Daniel Radcliffe that Red Granite is financing and co-producing alongside Mandalay Pictures. Alexandre Aja directs and the cast includes Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner and Max Minghella.

VVS Films has also picked up David Grovic’s crime thriller Motel starring John Cusack and Robert DeNiro. The deals were negotiated by Ernie Grivakis and Harry Grivakis of VVS Films with Danny Dimbort and Christian Mercuri of Red Granite International.

The VVS slate includes Toronto selections End Of Watch, To The Wonder and Aftershock.
