The 11th annual CineVegas Film Festival has announced the winners of its audience awards, with Kerry Prior’s The Revenant winning best narrative and Ben Steinbauer’s Winnebago Man winning best documentary.
Horror-comedy The Revenant is about a war hero who comes back from the dead to hang out with his best friend.
Winnebago Man is a portrait of reclusive Jack Rebney, who became an Internet star due to his outbursts while shooting a Winnebago sales video.
As previously reported, the festival’s grand jury prize went to Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s Easier With Practice.
The festival ran June 10-15 in Las Vegas.
