Berlin-based sales agent Films Boutique has secured international distribution rights for new films from Geoffrey Enthoven, Filipos Tsitos and Radu Jude.

Enthoven’s comedy Come As You Are (Hasta La Vista) [pictured] will have its premiere in competition at Montreal’s Festival des Films du Monde which begins today.

Inspired by an original story from the film’s producer Mariano Vanhoof and based on the real-life experiences of Asta Philpot and his friends, the film follows three twentysomethings who love women and wine, but are still virgins. Under the guise of a wine tour, they set off on a trip to Spain in the hope of having their first sexual experiences. Nothing is going to stop them – not even the fact that one is blind, another is confined to a wheelchair, and the third completely paralysed.

Come As You Are will also be the opening film at the Ostend Film Festival on Sept 2 and be released in Flemish cinemas by Kinepolis Film Distribution (KFD) on Sept 14.

Meanwhile, San Sebastian’s official competition has invited Greek filmmaker Filipos Tsitos‘ black comedy Unfair World (Adikos Kosmos) which has been produced by Wrong Men with Wim Wenders‘ Berlin-based production company Neue Road Movies.

The story focuses on a police interrogator who decides, in times of crisis, to be fair and pardon every poor person to whom life has been cruel.

In addition, Films Boutique is continuing its working relationship with the Romanian director Radu Jude by picking up world sales on his new feature Everybody In Our Family after handling his debut feature The Happiest Girl In The World last year.

The co-production between Ada Solomon’s Hifilm and the Netherlands‘ Circe Film had been presented as a project at the 2009 CineLink and was shot earlier this summer with a cast including Serbian Pavlu, Mihaela Sirbu and Gabriel Spahiu.

Jude’s second feature is expected to be ready by early in 2012.

Films Boutique’s Jean-Christophe Simon will be in Venice for the world premiere in competition of Alexander Sokurov’s $9m Faust, the final part of “Mein in Power” tetralogy after Moloch (Hitler), Taurus (Lenin) and The Sun (Hirohito). The radical reinterpretation of the Faust myth stars Johannes Zeiler, Hanna Schygulla, Isolda Dychauk and Georg Friedrich and will also be presented in Toronto.

Another Films Boutique title, Best Intentions by Romania’s Adrian Sitaru, picked up Silver Leopards for Best Director and Best Actor in Locarno last weekend.
