Midway through the AFM, Loic Magneron's Paris-based Wide Management has closed a raft of deals on its market line-up, including an all rights US sale on Atlante Kavaite's Fissures starring Emilie Dequenne to Lifesize Entertainment.

Fissures, produced by Antoine Simkine of Les Films D'Antoine, is a psychological drama about a young sound engineer investigating the murder of her mother deep in the countryside. Remake rights to the film, a winner of the Golden Vision Award at Santa Barbara, have already been sold to Joe Dante.

Meanwhile, Wide's gangster drama Unfailing has been pre-sold to Brazil (Newstar), Singapore (Musictronic Entertainment) and Benelux (Bru Bro).

Wide has also closed a deal on Another Love to Suraya for Malaysia and Indonesia, which previously bought Alice's House from Wide. Another Love is a Brazilian, favela-set reworking of Romeo and Juliet which has already been selected for Berlin's Panorama in Feb 2008.
