Former Canton Coexecutive Nathan Kahane has joined LA-based Senator International as executivevice president, motion pictures, following the conclusion this week of asyndicated loan of 230m euros ($202m) by parent company Senator Entertainment.

Kahane will headthe development and acquisition of feature films for Senator Internationalreporting to president Joe Drake and Senator Entertainment chairman Hanno Huth.He brings with him Jim Miller and Gregg Molander, also from The Canton Co, aspart of his creative team.

Kahane andSenator worked together on the development and production of Trapped (formerly known as 24 Hours) directed by Luis Mandoki and starringCharlize Theron, Stuart Townsend, Courtney Love and Kevin Bacon.

Kahane wasexecutive vice president of production at The Canton Co and began his careerunder the agent training programme at ICM.
