DeVon Franklin and Adam Milano have been promoted to vice presidents of production and Lauren Abrahams has been named creative executive for Columbia Pictures.

Franklin joined the studio in 2005 from MGM where he served as an executive and shepherded such projects as Be Cool and Beauty Shop. During his tenure at Sony Pictures he has helped to oversee The Pursuit Of Happyness, Hancock and 21 as well as the upcoming Will Smith release Seven Pounds.

Milano joined as an intern in 2000 and was promoted to creative executive in 2004. He has overseen Monster House, 30 Days Of Night, Vantage Point, Made Of Honor, The House Bunny and this weekend's upcoming release Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist.

Abrahams worked at Michael De Luca Productions as a development assistant from 2004 to 2006. Since then she served as assistant to Columbia Pictures co-president Matt Tolmach and is currently serving as the junior executive on the projects Salt starring Angelina Jolie, Zombieland starring Woody Harrelson, Winter's Discontent and Flash Gordon, among others.
