Future Shorts and Future Cinema are launching a new events series, Secret Cinema.

The monthly screenings will surprise guests with unannounced films shown at themed locations with surprise scores, special guests and live installations.

The series starts Dec 16 in London, and will continue in Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast from February.

The website with further information is www.secretcinema.org - registered users will learn the location the morning of the screening with a clue about the film to be shown.

'The secret cinema is a monthly gathering of all that love stimulating, challenging and groundbreaking cinema. The internet is changing the way we watch films. Secret cinema changes where we watch films,' said Fabien Riggall, founder and director of Secret Cinema.

Meanwhile, shorts showcase Future Shorts is running events in 23 countries and channels on Joost and YouTube.
