If Only, the first UK collaboration between Box Film and Intermedia, has started shooting in London with a cast headed by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls
Directed by Gil Junger, whose credits include 10 Things I Hate About You, the American girl in London romance is being produced by Junger and Hewitt, Robert Newmyer, Jeffrey Silver and Jill Gilbert as a Love Spell Entertainment/Outlaw Productions film. Gub Neal, the former Channel 4 drama chief who launched Box Film with a first look deal with Intermedia, is executive producing the project with Moritz Borman for Intermedia.
Tom Wilkinson co-stars, with shooting in London and Cumbria over seven weeks.
Hewitt plays an American music student living in London, while Nicholls, best known to for his role in soap opera Eastenders, plays her English boyfriend.
