Peter Greenawayhas wrapped a seven-week shoot in Poland and Wales for his Rembrandt story Nightwatching, which is timed with the 400thanniversary of the painter's birth.

Martin Freemanstars as the Dutch master, with the cast also including Eva Birthistle, JodhiMay, Emily Holmes and Chris Britton.

The mystery/dramais set in 1642 follows the events leading up to the creation of the masterpieceThe Night Watch. Kees Kasander is producing in association with ContentFilmInternational, which is handling international sales (a teaser promo isavailable at AFM).

Deals havealready been struck with Bac in France, Manga in Spain, Tokyo Theatres & Movie Eye in Japan,Spentzos in Greece, Lusomundo in Portugal, Monolith in Poland, Paradise in Russia and Europa in Brazil.
