Warner BrosInternational's Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets grossed an estimated $4.8m in 52territories over the weekend for a $576.5m international running total. Thefamily sequel recorded 755,000 admissions on more than 3,000 screens. Figuresfrom the Asian markets - particularly China in its second week - wereundeclared pending the end of the New Year holidays on Feb 9.
Elsewhere, GhostShip added another $2.6mto the coffers from more than 1,000 prints in 22 territories and now has a$33.8m international cumulative score. Opening at number two in Portugal, thehorror picture grossed $182,970 (Euros 168,512) with 41,761 admissions from 33prints, outperforming previous bows from Thirteen Ghosts by 254% and House On Haunted Hill by 575%.
The romanticcomedy Two Weeks Noticetook $1.3m from 256,000 admissions and 493 prints in six markets. Its estimatedinternational running total is $11m.
Analyze That opened in first place in Argentina, with$124,707 (Ps 400,345) from 60,609 admissions on 41 screens. The comedy sequelbeat off fellow opener The Ring and holdovers The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers and Die Another Day. Analyze That grossed $1.9m from 399,500admissions on 1,510 screens in 22 markets for a $14.2m cumulative score.
