HDNet Films has greenlightedthe drama One Last Thing, whichrecounts the struggle of a terminally ill young boy and his mother and willstar Cynthia Nixon and Michael Angarano.

Barry Stringfellow wrote the screenplay and Alex Steyermark will direct, withHDNet Films co-presidents Jason Kliot and Joana Vicente serving as producersalong with Susan Stover.

Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban, whose 2929 Entertainment owns HDNet Films, are onboard as executive producers.

Shooting is set to start in April in New York City on the story, which followsevents as the boy is invited by an organisation to make a final wish andsurprises everybody with his choice.

Sex In The City stalwart Nixonwill star opposite Bradley Whitford later this year in Twentieth Century Fox's LittleManhattan, which was written anddirected by Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett.

Angarano is a prolific television actor who will be seen this summer inCatherine Hardwicke's skateboarding drama Lords Of Dogtown and later in the year in Thomas Vinterberg'santi-gun tale Dear Wendy.

HDNet Films is currently in post-production on Joseph Castelo's political dramaOver The Mountains. Upcomingproductions include Carlos Brooks' Quid Pro Quo.
