The Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) has made its first call for project submissions, which it will accept until November 15.

The sixth edition of the financing and co-production market is scheduled to take place March 17-19, 2008, concurrently with the four-day contents market Filmart.

Organised by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, HAF works with international partners including Rotterdam's CineMart, Paris Cinema, Pusan Promotion Plan, Japan's J-Pitch, Canne's Marche du Film and the Rome Film Festival.

Rome has invited three filmmakers with HAF projects to participate in its New Cinema Network (NCN) later this month.

The three projects are Korean filmmaker E J-yong's Homecoming, Hong Kong director Yan Yan Mak's Journal Of Moonlight And Morning and Point Of Reference from Vietnam 's Nghiem-Minh Nguyen-Vo.
