Mukta Arts chairman andfilmmaker Subhash Ghai announced five new films during the company's 27thanniversary celebrations in Mumbai this week.

Ashwini Chowdhary willdirect Good Boy Bad Boy, a collegecampus musical, with Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor, Isha Sharvani and TanushreeDutta in the cast.

Sangeeth Sivan will direct Money Money Money, set to star RiteshDeshmukh, Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty.

In addition, thriller 36 China Town is currently in production with Abbas Mastandirecting, while romantic comedy, ShadeeSe Pahele, directed by Satish Kaushik and starring Akshaye Khanna, AyeshaTakia, Aftab Shivdasani and Mallika Sherawat, is to be released in early2006.

Mukta Arts is also in talkswith filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor, who recently made Iqbal for the company, to direct one more film for a new division"Mukta Searchlight Films", which aims to encourage independent cinema and debutfilmmakers with low-cost productions.

Mukta Arts will also producethe next film to be directed by Subhash Ghai which will be shot in mid-2006.
