Emerging film-maker JeffWadlow has been awarded a $1m production deal with online independent Hypnoticand Universal Studios as winner of the 2002 Chrysler Million Dollar FilmFestival. The year-long festival produced five finalists and culminated in aceremony at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday. Wadlow, agraduate of USC School of Cinema-Television, impressed the judges with hisfeature film, Living The Lie, andaccompanying script, storyboards and movie poster.
'We're very proud ofJeff Wadlow as with all the finalists,' Doug Liman, Hypnotic co-founderand director of Universal's The Bourne Identity, said in a statement. 'They all have brightfutures in Hollywood.'
The four other 2002 ChryslerMillion Dollar Film Festival finalists were Patrick Daughters for BountifulUtah; Matthew Ehlers for Vows AndRites; Geoffrey Haley for TheEmerald Room; and Seth Wiley for Rx.
