Tomas Jegeus (pictured) has been named executive vice president of marketingat Fox International, where he will develop and supervise strategic marketingplans for all Fox releases overseas.

The likelihood of Jegeus' appointment has been an open secret eversince Scott Neeson left the division 18 months ago.

Effective immediately, Jegeus will oversee the Los Angeles,regional and field marketing operations and report to Fox Internationalpresident Stephen Moore.

"With our highly-anticipated 2005 slate including Robots, StarWars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith, Kingdom Of Heaven and Fantastic Four, we sought a marketing executive whocould bring a wealth of experience and creativity to these important overseasmarketing campaigns," Moore said.

"Having worked extensively in our own regional offices and with anexcellent track record leading other international marketing divisions, Tomasis the perfect choice for the position."

Jegeus arrives from UIP in London, where he served as executivevice president of marketing from 2002 to 2004.

Prior to that,he worked in Hong Kong as vice president of Fox's Asia/Pacific marketingdivision, and previously served as marketing director at both Fox andColumbia/TriStar Sweden.
