Jeunet's Engagement dominates French box office with $8.7m

The openingresults were roughly 50% ahead of Jeunet's last release Amelie, and on a par with Star Wars EpisodeII - Attack Of The Clones, Ocean's Eleven, Unbreakable, Matrix, and The World Is Not Enough.
