A four-week shoot will start Monday on Susan Jacobson’s thriller The Holding, set on an isolated farm in England’s Peak District.

Kierston Wareing, Vincent Regan and David Bradley will star. Wareing plays a woman fighting for survival and to hold on to her family.

Alex Boden (Pistachio Pictures) and George Mizen (Notorious Films) are producing, in conjunction with Terry Stone and Gateway Films, together with Leopard Films and Northcroft Films.

Jacobson, who made award-winning shorts including One Hundredth of Second, Bushido: the Way of the Warrior and Cracks in the Ceiling, makes her feature debt.

James Dormer (Spooks) wrote the script.
