EXCLUSIVE: Kino Lorber has acquired US rights to Pan Nalin’s feature documentry Faith Connections.

The film, which had its world premiere at Toronto last year, is set to receive its US premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival this weekend. It was previously sold to France, Germany & Austria, Benelux, Switzerland and Australia & New Zealand.

Faith Connections is probably the first Indian doc to break into the international theatrical market. We are thrilled at our association with US distributor Kino Lorber for its US release,” said producer Gaurav Dhingra.

Dhingra and Nalin’s Jungle Book Entertainment produced with France’s Cite Films and Virginie Films. Jungle Book also recently wrapped Nalin’s Goa-set comedy drama Angry Indian Goddesses.

Nalin is also casting for Beyond The Known World, a co-production between Jungle Book, New Zealand’s Reservoir Film and Arsam France. The film is expected to shoot later this year in New Zealand and the Indian Himalayas.
