Isaac Kwon, chief executive officer, and Thomas Kim, president of international business, hit the ground running and sealed four deals on the Academy Award-nominated mystery thriller The Black Dahlia, starring Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson, from Nu Image; Taxi 4, produced by Luc Besson, from Europa Corp; a pre-buy of Ewan McGregor-starrer sci-fi film Franklyn from HanWay, and table tennis comedy Balls Of Fury from Focus Features.
Inmoa is currently prepping Taxi 4 for a July release and Black Dahlia for an autumn release in Korea.
A newly-established division of IT venture Inmoa Communications, Inmoa Entertainment set out at the recent EFM with an aim to buy four films for release within this year.
