Roger Frappier's Montreal-based Max Films International has pre-sold Lynn Charlebois' Borderline to Lime Tree Entertainment for Korea. The film, now in post-production, is due to be delivered in October. A five-minute promo reeling has been screening in the market.

Borderline, is a drama about a woman at three different stages in her life, based on the novel by Marie-Sissi Labreche, stars Isabelle Blais and Jean-Hugues Anglade.

The Borderline deal comes as Max continues to generate strong interest on The Little Book Of Revenge, the latest film from François Pouliot (whose Seducing Doctor Lewis closed the Quinzaine in 2003.)

Max has already closed a deal on the film with Russian Report for Russia. The Little Book will screen later in the year at the Seattle and Shanghai International Film Festivals.)

On the production front, Max is moving ahead with several new projects, among them Manon Briand's $16m Out Of Z (on which Max is partnering with MK2), Arto Paragamian's Shameless and Jean-Philippe Duval's $7 million musical Dede a travers les brumes.
