On the back of the two Oscar nominations for Away From Her, the film's UK distributor, Metrodome, has announced plans to revive the film in a limited theatrical re-release in select UK cinemas from Feb 15.

Metrodome originally released the film, nominated for best actress (Julie Christie) and best adapted screenplay (Sarah Polley), in April 2007.

Another Metrodome UK release, The Counterfeiters, was nominated in the best foreign-language film category. That film was launched in the UK in October 2007 and is still playing in UK cinemas, having taken over $1.2m at the local box office.
