Michel Morales's German company Miromar Entertainment, co-producer on the Heather Graham romantic comedy Buy Borrow Steal and the Viggo Mortensen drama Good, has unveiled a slate of English and German-language feature projects in development.

The English language genre projects - with budgets up to Euros 7m - include the action film Car Pirates, based on a screenplay by Fred A. Wyler and to be directed by Morales himself; Isaac Florentine's thriller Manila Time likely to be shot in Mexico; and Mark Hammond's Asia-set thriller Counterfight.

In the lineup of German language projects Morales has secured veteran actor Mario Adorf (The Tin Drum) to appear in the comedy Hallelujah Hamburg! and has interest from Heike Makatsch (Love Actually) to take one of the leads in Ikarus, a biopic about Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin, the pioneer of airships at the beginning of the last century.

Miromar and Berlin-based Cinemakers are currently in postproduction on Roger Christian's mystery horror adventure film Prisoners of the Sun, starring John Rhys-Davies, David Charvet and Carmen Chaplin, which was shot at locations near Ouarzazate in Morocco.
