Jason Lewis ofSex And The City fame is set to star in My Bollywood Bride, a cross-culturalromantic comedy and co-production between Indian production house Dream TeamPictures and former investment banker Brad Listermann's Nevada-based HisKarmaProductions.

My Bollywood Bride centres on a former windsurfer turned adventurenovelist who meets a holidaying Bollywood star in California and pursues her toMumbai in an effort to win her heart.

Music video, commercials and television veteran Rajeev Virani willdirect the picture, which is fully funded and ready to begin shooting in Mumbaiand Los Angeles on May 10.

Listermann and his wife Kashmira Shah co-wrote the screenplay withRichard Martini. Shah is also producing with Listermann and will star alongsideLewis.

Investors Vivek Wadhwa, Duncan Clark and Doug Falconer will serveas executive producers.

Lewis' next project will be the psychological thriller The Jacket,which stars Adrien Brody and will be released next year by Warner IndependentPictures.

The privately owned Dream Team Pictures has a co productionagreement with HisKarma Productions, which is co-owned by Shah and providesfinancial consulting to the film industry.
