Production has begun in Winnipeg on Steve Berra's directorialdebut The Good Lifestarring Mark Webber, Chris Klein, Zooey Deschanel and Bill Paxton.

The picture is the first to be produced by FarFalla Films, a fundcreated by the company's partners Lance Sloane, a producer at Warner Bros, andhis brother and company chief Devin Sloane.

Lance Sloane and Patrick Markey are producing and Paxton isserving as executive producer.

The story centres on an ordinary man who tries to make the best oflife in a small Nebraska town. Berra also wrote the screenplay and Harry DeanStanton, Deborah Rush and Bruce McGill round out the cast.

Sloane has two other projects in development. The first isFake at Warner Independent Pictures, which tells the true story of the world'sgreatest art forger.

The second is Yucatan, a project which Steve McQueen previously developed, which is nowset up at Warner Bros with Harry Potter producer David Heyman. 'The Steve McQueen Estate hasentrusted me with the honour of turning Yucatan into a movie', Sloane added.

'I have two leather-bound treasure chests containing 1,700pages of a meticulously researched story outline, that McQueen created with hisown hands as a vehicle for him to star in before his untimely passing.'

Paul Scheuringis writing the screenplay and Chad McQueen will serve as executive producer.
