The widely respected executive and former marketing guru at Sony and Screen Gems will get to work on the company’s slate that includes Broken City, Noah and Twelve Years A Slave.

Tim Clawson joins New Regency as evp and head of physical production having previously served in a similar role at The Weinstein Company.

David Manpearl has also arrived and will serve as vp of production. His previous position was svp of features for Mandeville Films where he worked on The Muppets and the upcoming 21 And Over.

Regency’s executive leadership also includes president of production Carla Hacken, COO Jonathan Fischer, CFO Mimi Tseng, evp of production Alexandra Milchan who rejoined the company and evp of television Andrew Plotkin who is working closely with Weston to build upon New Regency’s return to television.

Arnon Milchan returned to the fray last year as chairman.
