Charles Koppelman has joined entertainment content creation company Medient Studios as vice-chairman.

Koppelman, the chairman and CEO of CAK Entertainment, is a brand-building veteran who has been a leader at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, EMI Records and Steve Madden.

“Charles is such an important and influential leader in entertainment and finance,” said Medient Studios CEO and chairman Manu Kumaran.

“He brings great vision and experience to the company and will be a turbo booster in our continuing odyssey and we are thrilled that he is joining our board.”

“I look forward to helping Medient Studios modify what has been a broken and inefficient system in the entertainment content space,” said Koppelman.
